Designed to be easy to return to

Plain English. Useful detail. Easy navigation.

READ WITH CLARITY

Professional ideas, simpler language.

Plain-English explanations keep common nursing terms in context. Fictional conversations and worked examples connect the reading with practical learning.

TAP TO FIND IT

An interactive PDF.

Clickable contents, internal navigation and source links help you move through the file. Search the text in a compatible PDF reader on your phone, tablet or computer.

CHECK THE SOURCES

Citations and source notes included.

Follow the cited guidance and discuss what you read with your preceptor. Always check the current local policy; a source note is not a guarantee that guidance will never change.

PDF navigation depends on your reader. These files do not include an AI tutor, progress tracking or an RN Clarity subscription.

How to use it

A companion to your orientation.

Read a relevant section before an assignment, say a conversation aloud, or discuss a practice prompt with your preceptor. Bring questions to the team and follow the current policies for your unit, state, province or territory.

Educational resources for RNs, students, tutors and preceptors. Use with current local policies, patient-specific orders and supervised practice. These books do not certify competence, replace orientation or include an RN Clarity app subscription.

Source notes are included in the book. We do not claim a guaranteed clinical outcome or independent clinician certification.

Build on this edition

A few honest answers

Before you decide

Do I need a book to become comfortable on a new floor?

No. Your workplace orientation, preceptor and everyday supervised practice are the foundation. People settle into new settings at different speeds. These books are optional: a way to see familiar situations, rehearse conversations and prepare questions before or between shifts.

What do I receive?

An individual purchase includes the named PDF edition. The complete package includes the original 437-page Bedside Companion and all eight focused editions as nine separate PDFs. The eight editions total 500 pages including their own covers, contents and source notes. They adapt and overlap the original material: this is not 937 pages of unique lessons. No printed book is shipped.

Can I see inside before deciding?

Yes. Each individual book page has three clear, readable pages taken from that edition. The previews are not blurred. They are a small public sample; the complete PDFs are not public downloads.

Is this a subscription or a one-time purchase?

These are one-time digital book purchases, separate from the RN Clarity study subscription. All prices are in US dollars. Any applicable tax is shown at checkout before payment. No recurring book charge.

Will I need an account?

No RN Clarity account is required. Stripe handles payment. After payment is confirmed, protected download links appear on your purchase page. A personal access email lets you return later.

Can I read on a phone or print a copy?

Yes. The PDFs use a portrait, mobile-first layout with linked contents and navigation. Your personal-use licence allows your own devices and one personal printed working copy. A PDF reader is required.

Do these books provide continuing-education credits?

The books include source notes and fictional teaching examples. We do not claim independent clinical certification, accreditation, continuing-education credit or guaranteed clinical outcomes. Publication dates do not mean every referenced guideline was published that year.

Can my class or whole team share one purchase?

One purchase is for one reader. Please share the product link rather than the PDF. Contact support@rnclarity.com to discuss a class or team licence.

What if I have a payment or download problem?

Email support@rnclarity.com with the checkout email and order reference. Never send card numbers or patient information. All sales are final. No discretionary refunds, except where required by applicable law. Contact us if a file is missing, damaged or will not open so we can help you access your purchase.
