How to read this lab-values reference

  1. Search by lab name or category, then read the matching card on a phone or the table row on a larger screen. The search narrows the displayed reference; it does not interpret a patient's result.
  2. Switch among US, SI and Dual display when those representations are available. Keep the unit beside every number; a value without its unit can be misleading.
  3. Check any source citation and range context provided alongside the nursing notes. You can also download the printable pack for offline study or a classroom discussion.

Study intervals and urgent-result thresholds vary by laboratory, method, specimen and patient. For care decisions, follow the reporting laboratory's current interval and your local escalation policy.
