Ask who needs the result

Make a three-column list: examination eligibility, nursing registration and later U.S. screening. Record the organisation, accepted test, score rule, result age and delivery method for each applicable column. Do not assume a test accepted by one recipient is accepted in the same form by another. A board’s programme-language exception is not automatically a VisaScreen exemption.

Do Nigerian nurses need IELTS before taking the NCLEX?

There is no universal IELTS rule based solely on Nigerian nationality. Check your regulator’s English evidence for eligibility or registration, and separately check any later screening requirement. Pearson registration is not the place to infer a blanket language exemption.

Can I use OET instead of IELTS as a Nigerian nurse?
