Understand the evidence

Don’t just memorise an answer. Check why it makes sense.

RN Clarity includes source citations in its question explanations and learning materials. Follow the references to explore the underlying guidance and strengthen your understanding.

Look for the source links while you review. Citation coverage varies by item; a reference helps you check a claim, rather than making every answer unquestionable.

NCLEX® to Floor Ready

Whether you are a student, a new nurse or an internationally educated nurse in the United States, connect exam preparation with workplace communication, routines and expectations. Use the lessons to bring useful questions to orientation.

Understand the situation

Explore visual lessons in medication safety, patient assessment and body systems. Connect what you studied with the cues you may need to discuss at the bedside.

Practise the conversation

Think through how to explain a concern, organise a handoff and check that a patient understands. Clear communication is part of safe nursing care.

Bring better questions to orientation

Use realistic learning scenarios to identify what you should ask your preceptor. Compare your learning with your employer’s policies and your local scope of practice.

From a practice answer to a bedside question

After a medication-safety question, go beyond “Which option is correct?” Ask: What should I assess first? What needs clarification? What should I monitor and communicate afterward? Use the linked lessons to build that habit.

Educational support for internationally educated learners and new nurses. It does not replace employer orientation, supervision or local policies.

Your application and your study are two separate steps

Planning to take the NCLEX-RN® from the United States?

Start with the nursing regulator where you want to become licensed. Requirements depend on the destination—not simply on where you take the examination.

A study starting point for United States

Choose the state board where you plan to apply for licensure. Keep your application checklist separate from your study plan, then use short topic sessions and full mocks to prepare around your graduation or work schedule.

  1. Choose your destination regulator

Check its requirements for nursing education, credential evaluation and English-language evidence. Do this before paying for services you may not need.

  2. Apply and register through the official process

Apply to the nursing regulatory body and register with Pearson. The regulator determines your eligibility. Read the official registration steps.

  3. Wait for your Authorization to Test

Once eligible, use your ATT to schedule within its validity period. Check the current identification rules before your appointment. Read official examination FAQs.

  4. Check available examination appointments

Use the official NCLEX® test-centre locator to check current appointments in the United States. Confirm your eligibility and ATT validity before scheduling. Find official testing locations.
