NCLEX Application Checklist for Nurses in India
Organise school transcripts, nursing council verification, regulator instructions and ATT tasks in a printable checklist.
Quick answer
Start with the intended regulator, then track records from the right sender to the right recipient. Sent documents are not necessarily accepted documents.
Before requesting records
Write the exact state or province, the application route and your reference number. Use the regulator’s current instructions to decide whether a credential report is required and which report it accepts.
Check your name across passport, qualification records and registration documents. If names differ, ask the recipient what evidence it accepts. For examination identification, follow Pearson’s current matching-name and original-document rules.

School and nursing council records are separate
Ask the school or university which office sends official transcripts and any requested subject or clinical-hour breakdown. Ask the licensing council how to send the required registration verification. A scan you upload may not replace a document that must come directly from its issuer.
If you held registration in more than one jurisdiction, list each one and check which verifications the recipient needs. Keep receipts and dispatch references without assuming that tracking delivery means the file has passed review.
- Record the recipient and application identifier.
- Record the request date and sender.
- Record dispatch and receipt separately.
- Mark accepted only after the recipient confirms it.

Do not confuse eligibility, ATT and a booked appointment
Eligibility means the regulator permits you to take the exam. Authorization to Test (ATT) is Pearson’s authorisation with a validity window. A confirmed appointment is a separate step. Check the dates in your own ATT and confirmation.
Use this organiser for reminders, not as an eligibility calculator. Add regulator-specific items such as language evidence, background checks or required coursework to your private application records.

Your application organiser
Use the state board’s international education instructions. Do not order a report until you know its accepted route.
Changing destination resets marks. No documents requested. Marks reset on refresh. Add regulator-specific requirements to your private checklist.
