NCLEX Cost in India 2026: USD, CAD, AUD and INR Budget Planner
Official sources checked September 22, 2026.
Quick answer
There is no single reliable total NCLEX cost in rupees. Separate examination charges from regulator, credential, council, school, language and travel costs. Use current quotes and your own exchange rates; the planner labels missing items and keeps later-stage expenses separate.
At a glance
| Official exam fee | Destination determines USD or CAD |
|---|---|
| Credential and regulator costs | Enter the exact accepted service |
| Indian documents | Confirm council and institution charges |
| Australian assessment | Enter applicable AUD costs separately |
| Conversion | User-entered INR rates; no live quote |
| Later stage | Keep screening/relocation separate |
Published examination charges
At the checked date, U.S. and Australian NCLEX registration is US$200, while Canadian registration is C$360. For an examination in India, additional international scheduling is US$150 or C$150 respectively, with applicable taxes. Announced registration fees from February 1, 2027 are US$350 for U.S./Australian licensure and C$570 for Canada. Future international scheduling is left unconfirmed in the planner instead of assuming the current additional charge will continue.
The rest of the application is destination-specific
New York’s checked licence and first-registration fee is US$143. Other regulator, evaluator and nursing-council charges must be taken from the applicable official service. Australia may involve assessment, orientation, OSCE and registration expenses in AUD in addition to Pearson’s USD examination charges. An English-test or VisaScreen fee belongs only where that service applies. Record whether taxes, delivery and payment charges are included in each quote.
Rupee conversion is an assumption you supply
Use the actual exchange rate and charges quoted by your bank or payment provider. The planner supplies no live foreign-exchange quote and does not silently use an old conversion. Enter 0 only when you have confirmed an item does not apply; a blank field means unbudgeted. Keep travel quotes realistic for the confirmed city and date, and distinguish later-stage screening or relocation from the application and exam subtotal.
Plan your next steps
- Select destination and intended regulator.
- Choose the registration period and test country.
- Confirm each official fee and its currency.
- Add council, school, travel and applicable test quotes.
- Enter your current INR conversion rates.
- Review missing items before treating a subtotal as a budget.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Advertising a fixed rupee total without assumptions.
- Adding USD, CAD and AUD as though they were the same currency.
- Calling unknown charges zero.
Blank costs remain unbudgeted. Do not add different currencies directly.

Add regulator, credential, document and applicable language charges to examination costs. Current U.S./Australian NCLEX registration is US$200, plus US$150 international scheduling for testing in India; Canadian registration is C$360 plus C$150. Taxes and other costs are additional.
What is the total cost of NCLEX in Indian rupees?
There is no single verified rupee total. Enter the required USD, CAD or AUD charges and your INR conversion rates, then add Indian document and travel quotes. The planner marks unknown items and shows a partial subtotal, not a promised full cost.
What fees do I pay apart from the NCLEX examination fee?
Depending on the pathway: regulator application, evaluation, council verification, school records, English testing, travel, taxes and bank charges. Australia may add assessment/OSCE costs. Applicable U.S. VisaScreen and later-stage expenses are shown separately.
